Pilates Mat Classes ( Currently we are not offering group classes, please check back in the Fall of 2024)
Mat Classes include exercise routines that stretch, strengthen, and increase mobility in both upper and lower body with special emphasis on the abdominal and back muscles.
The classes use smaller Pilates equipment such as Fitness Circles, Foam Rollers and Balls. Participants will learn the Pilates Principles while enjoying beneficial and invigorating exercise. Some of the Pilates mat classes incorporate MELT Length and Strength exercises. Please see specific class descriptions for further information.
Pilates Private Sessions ( Email to be Placed on Our Wait List )
One-on-one private sessions are the most effective way to begin training in Pilates. The Pilates Studio private sessions provide focused attention between our trainer, you and the exercise. Your first private session will contain an evaluation of your current fitness levels and goals, allowing us to develop a highly personalized program to meet your goals and any special needs you may have.
If you have an injury or are in physical therapy, we work directly with your physical therapist, doctor or other health professionals to help you achieve optimum recovery results. Individual sessions utilize the Pilates mat and apparatus exercises to strengthen and tone muscles, improve posture, increase flexibility and improve concentration and breath control. Apparatus for your workout include the Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, and Chair, as well as T.R.X., exercise balls, free weights and more.
All students new to the Pilates Studio are required to start with private session on our state of the art Pilates equipment. After 3-5 private sessions the best options for you will be reviewed.
